Atlanta Alliance on Developmental Disabilities
For nearly 60 years, AADD has been a strong source of advocacy and support for individuals with developmental disabilities in Georgia.  There is a lot of great information on disabilities on this site.


 
Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities
This link will take you to the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities on the state’s website.  DBHDD was established July 1, 2009 and is a new division created from the former Georgia Department of Human Resources Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Addictive Diseases.  It is a great source for current information that affects funding and services statewide.

During the Legislative Session at the beginning of each year, the information on this site gets updated often as bills affecting disability services get tracked through our legislative process.  It’s also a great source for getting to know local and state legislators better.
