Staff
CCDS employs a diverse, experienced staff of 70 individuals committed to providing the best possible services to individuals with developmental disabilities.  Building on strengths and encouraging creativity and innovation, CCDS ensures continued growth by providing on-going training to enhance each team member's expertise. 

The following are department supervisors who represent a sampling of our qualified staff.
 
 
 
 
Wanda Bohnstedt
Vice President of Operations, Quantum
Wanda currently oversees the business operations of Quantum. When she first began her career at CCDS in 1990, she was the Supervisor of the Children’s First Program for children with developmental disabilities. Over the past 19 years, she has worked in both Case Management and Community Employment. She participates in many committees such as the Quality Improvement Program (QIP), CARF, and serves as the facilitator for the Business Advisory Council (BAC). Wanda holds a BA in Education from the University of South Carolina and outside of the office she enjoys playing tennis and spending time on the water. 
 
 
 
Cindy Burns
Community Employment Services Supervisor

Cindy brought her job development expertise to CCDS in October 1994 after working at Goodwill, Savannah Chatham Board of Education and Vocational Rehabilitation. If her current role as Community Employment Supervisor didn’t keep her busy enough, Cindy is a member of the GAPSE Board, the current chair of the Local Employer Committee, a member of the Georgia Employer Committee Executive Board, and a co-developer of Savannah’s version of Project SEARCH.  In her spare time, Cindy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and catching a good movie.
 
 
 
  

Yvonne Cook
Day Habilitation Program Supervisor
Supervising one of the state’s best day habilitation programs is no small task, but Yvonne Cook has managed to do it extremely well for over 15 years.  A Savannah State University graduate, Yvonne joined the CCDS team in 1971 when she worked at St. Pius as an instructional aide.  Over the years, Yvonne has developed a team of professionals who give their all to ensure the best possible experience to individuals participating in day habilitation services.  In addition to leading her program, Yvonne participates in the Advisory Council for Community Resource Development (ACCORD) and the CARF Committee as ways to enhance her program.
 
 

 
Jarrell Dickey
Public Relations Manager / Info Tech Coordinator
Jarrell joined the CCDS staff in 1990 after working at Savannah’s WSAV-TV.  A graduate of Macon’s Mercer University with a BA in Communications, he started his CCDS career in community employment, and transitioned through case management and service coordination before taking his current role in 1999.  Jarrell is a member of various teams including Advisory Committee on Community Resource Development, Business Advisory Council, CARF, Quality Improvement Program, and the Technology Team.  Away from work, Jarrell has been a volunteer leader to area high school students through Young Life for 23 years.
 
 

 
Lauri Dworzak
Case Management Supervisor
A Chicago native, Lauri graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College and served in the military before joining the CCDS service coordination staff in July 2000.  Building on her direct support staff background in both residential and training facilities, Lauri moved into case management to better advocate for the individuals CCDS serves.  Lauri is the chairperson for ACCORD, advisor for both the College of Direct Support project and the Employee Association, and participates in the CARF and Risk Management committees, too.  In her spare time, Lauri enjoys camping, traveling and gardening.

 
 

 
Georgia Hancock
Human Resources Coordinator
Georgia’s career at CCDS began in May 1980 when she was hired as the greenhouse supervisor after gaining experience at Georgia Nursery and Landscape.  Georgia soon found herself in the newly-developed Supported Employment Program as its job developer and assistant coordinator.  A move to case management followed at the same time that Georgia began training to be the agency’s Department of Labor liaison.  Still carrying the DOL liaison responsibilities, the Savannah native took on the role of Special Projects manager in 1999.  In her current role, Georgia is a member of SHRM, continues her human resources training, and participates in the CARF and QIP committees.  In her spare time, Georgia is usually found gardening and designing landscapes for her home or for someone else.

 
 

 
Corliss Hines
Health Services Coordinator / R.N.
A graduate of Syracuse University Graduate School of Nursing, Corliss joined the CCDS staff in July 2007 in the role of coordinating the safety and well-being of staff and the individuals we serve.  The New York City native brought experience in managing and coordinating care for people with disabilities (she covered 21 counties in New Jersey as a health supervisor) as well as possessing forensic nursing expertise as a consultant for the Division of Youth and Family Services in New Jersey.  In addition to coordinating and conducting trainings, monitoring medications, and overseeing daily health and safety needs, Corliss chairs the Crisis Team, Health Fair Planning Committee, and the Risk Management Team and participates in the CARF and QIP teams as well.  With a creative approach, Corliss consistently seeks innovative ways to inspire everyone at CCDS to keep health, safety and wellness priorities in our daily lives.

 

 
Sarah Sires
Quality Assurance Coordinator
A graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University, Sarah joined the CCDS team in July 2001 as a service coordinator and transitioned into case management. In her current role, Sarah is the primary resource for the new NOW/COMP Waivers and is responsible for ensuring that quality documentation is maintained.  Sarah participates in a number of committees, including Advisory Council on Community Resource Development, CARF, the Crisis Team, Health Fair Committee, and Quality Improvement Program. 
 
 

 
Lisa Solis
Accounting Manager
A New York native, Lisa moved to the Savannah area over 30 years ago. She joined the CCDS family in 2006, bringing with her 30 years of experience in accounting (16 years in the non-profit sector).  As our Accounting Supervisor, she has restructured the business office and instituted many time-saving, cost effective procedures.  Lisa thrives on balancing a busy schedule, organizing business office functions and possessing a strong commitment to our mission.  A resident of Rincon, Lisa enjoys home decorating, shopping and gardening in her spare time.
 
 

 
Clealice Timmons
Ancillary Services Supervisor
A graduate from Savannah State College with a BS degree, Clealice began her career at CCDS in July, 1979.  Her first role was Receptionist during the Chatham Association for Retarded Citizens days.  She later became Transportation Supervisor and now, Ancillary Services Manager.  Clealice enjoys her position because it allows her to meet and know all of our people who receive services.  She also participates on the RISK Management Team and the CARF Team.
 
 

 
Amanda Webb
Director of Marketing and Sales
Amanda joined the team in March 2007 and quickly found herself on many committees such as the Business Advisory Council, Business Development Team, Quality Improvement Program, and the newsletter committee. Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, traveling and spending time with her new husband.
