
William D. Hazlip
President
A member of the board for nearly 28 years, Willie is still a strong promoter of CCDS and Quantum, Inc.’s involvement in and contributions to the coastal community. A graduate of Georgia Southern University, Willie is a Vice President / Branch Manager of United Community Bank. Willie and his wife Lucy are the parents of three children and grandparents of two wonderful grandchildren.

Ken Boyd, Ed. D.
Vice-President
Ken is the Vice President of Economic Development for Savannah Technical College. Boyd initially became involved with our organization when he agreed to customize a business management class for the Quantum business managers. Boyd actively served on the Business Advisory Council until he joined the Quantum Board of Directors in July 2006. While serving on the Quantum Board, he held many offices to include President, Vice President, and Treasurer. His connections with the business community have opened doors to many of the larger manufacturers to include JCB, IKEA, and Oneida.

Diana Brown
Secretary
Diana joined the CCDS Board of Directors in May 2009 after many years of being a strong supporter of CCDS services. Diana retired from Savannah Electric and Power in 2006 and presently works at Savannah Case Management as their Office Manager. She is also a licensed adjuster. Diana's daughter, Lee, was hired on a community job with help from the Community Employment Services of CCDS, and Diana has always tried to support Lee's goal of independence. As a member of the CCDS Board of Directors, Diana hopes to ensure the availability of services that impacted her daughter's life so positively.

Michael D. Strickland
Treasurer
After working with individuals in CCDS’s Community Employment Services for years, Michael joined the CCDS Board of Directors nearly 19 years ago. His goal of helping people with disabilities achieve independence remains as true now as it did back then. A native Savannahian, Michael is employed by Re/Max Professionals, and during his spare time, he enjoys boating and traveling.

Richard W. Bradham
A Savannah native, Richard started working at CCDS in the 1980's and joined the board over 10 years ago. As the longtime manager of the snack bar located in Quantum, Inc., Richard was honored when renovations in 2004 prompted the construction of "RICHARD'S", a full-fledged permanent snack bar site. Richard is very close to his family and enjoys traveling with them whenever possible.

J. Craig Gordon
Craig joined the board in 2008, following in the footsteps of his father, Charles, who served for many years. Craig is the owner of Statewide Healthcare and also serves as the Representative of House District 162. He stays very busy, but in his spare time, Craig enjoys reading, music, jogging and travel.

Lee I. Grimes
Lee is the Director of Research and Established Business at the Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA). Working primarily with manufacturers, warehousing companies and corporate headquarters, Grimes’ role is to offer them services, help understanding the community and assistance in expansion and with problems. She is also an active participant in the Business Retention Action Team (BRAT) which is designed to provide a framework of services, operational solutions, and resource information to facilitate business and job growth.

Joseph M. Lane, Jr.
A member of the CCDS Board of Directors for nearly two decades, Joe has been a licensed psychologist in Georgia since 1984. After earning a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The University of Georgia, he completed a Clinical Internship at Georgia Regional Hospital in Savannah. Joe completed Post-Doctorate work in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Georgia State University, UGA, and The Medical College of Georgia in 1999. After 31 years as a Professor of Psychology at Armstrong Atlantic State University, he entered into full-time private practice with Coastal Psychology. Joe and his wife Janet are parents to two sons.

Daniel W. Massey
Dan is the Clerk of Superior Court for Chatham County, an office he has held since 2004. As the City Manager of Pooler from 1985 to 1992, he extended and improved the town’s infrastructure to promote development and start programs for youth and elderly residents. In his current role, Massey has made significant improvements in technology availability and data sharing in the court system, even moving to a paperless environment for one division. Massey is active in nine professional committees related to the court system and currently chairs four of them.

Anne Newsome
Since 1980, Anne Newsome has been an active member of the CCDS Board of Directors and has seen the agency undergo many positive changes. A retired data processor, Anne is very proud of her daughter who worked in Quantum Assembly for many years. A native of Washington, GA, Ann loves to vacation with her family in Hiawassee, located in the north Georgia mountains.

David Saussy
David joined the CCDS Board of Directors in 2005 and has represented the agency in numerous community events. A native of Columbia, SC, David graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Geology. He and his wife made a home in Savannah and have three children and four grandchildren. David is the president / owner of Capital Management Systems, Inc., and has spent many years as a public servant by serving as a two-term Chatham County Commissioner, Chairman of Chatham-Savannah Authority for Homeless, and Vice President of Live Oak Public Library Foundation. When he gets some spare time, David pursues genealogy as a hobby and enjoys vacations with his family in Highlands, NC.
